I discovered this recipe on Pinterest (where else?) and fell in love.
Cider is one of my favorite things about Fall/Winter & it doesn't get any better than this recipe, especially since you know how much I love the Starbucks version of this drink.
This recipe is from the blog Food Apparel, which you have to visit because it's fabulous.
Here's the ingredient list:
4-6 Cups of Simply Apple juice (or other pressed apple juice)
1/4 Cup of caramel sauce (you can find her favorite version here)
2 Cinnamon sticks
6 Whole cloves
6 Allspice berries
Whipped Cream *optional*
Extra caramel sauce for drizzling *optional*
Directions:
1) Pour your apple juice, caramel sauce, and spices into a pot and let it simmer for five minutes over low-medium heat.
2) After it's heated through, pour into mugs, top with whipped cream/caramel for a little something extra.
Let me know what y'all think!
This is absolutely delicious, you could probably even make it in a larger batch in a crockpot for a party, this would be great for church parties, Fall wedding showers, etc.
Until next time. . .
xoxo,
It is SO yummy, you'll have to try it out & let me know how yours turns out :)
