Hey y'all! Hope y'all are having a great first day to the work-week today, since yesterday was a holiday and hopefully a three day weekend for more of y'all!
Today I'm sharing so many of my favorite things-a new product that I'm obsessed with, some music I've been listening to on repeat, some clothes I bought (& that y'all will be seeing in outfit posts soon), and of course a decor sneak peek!
Let's jump in!

ONE
My first weekly fave and something I absolutely have to share is a new SPF that I've been testing out.
With the weather cooling down, I've been finding myself outside a lot more especially since I cut the grass at the farm and I have been enjoying more exercise lately as well. All of that being outside more frequently adds up to me needing more protection from the sun and my new favorite is from NeoStrata!
It's an oil-free daily SPF that actually is hydrating too, making it a great first step in your morning skincare regime.
I have combination skin that leans toward the more oily side during the summer, but this SPF is actually supposed to control and reduce the oiliness and y'all-that is a claim that has proved itself with me over the last month that I've been testing it out. And I don't know about y'all, but whether I'm out on the beach or lake, or just out on the farm I never want to be an oily mess either way.
Along with sun protection it also helps even out your skin tone and is supposed to improve skin firmness over time.
Some more product benefits:
-It provides broad spectrum UVA/UVA protection
-It's non-comedogenic (meaning that it won't block your pores)
-It's non acnegenic (it's less likely to cause breakouts!)
-It's fragrance free (for me, this means it's less likely to irritate my skin which is something that's so important with a daily SPF)
The application process is super simple too-just apply it to your face and neck (it's made for daily use so lather up!), make sure it's applied fifteen minutes before you head outside and then reapply every two hours for maximum protection.
This SPF is not water resistant, so make sure if you're sweating it up or swimming then you use a waterproof SPF.
This product is available on the NeoStrata website and while it's a higher priced item, it's worth it to me to protect my skin. I might skimp and choose a drug-store lipstick, but I don't want to skimp on the product that's protecting my skin from the sun!
TWO
There's something about September that makes me want to break out my "fall-music", typically country and mostly Luke Bryan.
I've been playing his Farm Tour playlist on Spotify on repeat, especially this song because it reminds me of my sweet farm life.
"Here's to the farmer that plants the fields in the spring that turned from green to that harvest honey, hold one up for the banker downtown that got him on his feet with handshake money, here's to the farmers wife that loves him every night"
I'm also really loving this 90's country song right about now. . .
"Hard times are real, there's dusty fields no matter where you go. And you may change your mind, cause weeds are high where corn don't grow."

If you shop at Target and haven't tried this side dish yet you need to go get it right now!
My husband & I tried it out just last week & we both gave it two thumbs up.
It's inexpensive, really easy to fix (it's a steaming bag), and so tasty.
We had ours with fish, but I think it would be amazing with veggies and grilled chicken as well.
FOUR
My mom and I went shopping after I had some dental work done last week & I made some awesome purchases if I do say so myself.
This tee describes my life perfectly.
My first pair of mesh-paneled leggings in this bomb Fall color
The perfect long sleeved tee for layering and wearing with leggings
(colors purchased-black & deep rose, but deep rose looks more rust colored in real life!)
Also picked up this lightweight sweatshirt from our local outdoors store & I'm obsessed with the oversized men's fit for leggings this Fall & Winter!

Since my phone case currently has palm leaves all over the back of it, I decided it was time to pick up a new one that was more season-neutral.
This is the one I picked, but I'm also loving this one because it reminds me of Kate Spade but way cheaper, this one reminds me of Draper James but once again-way cheaper, and this one because-unicorns.

Sunday was spent lazily and then that afternoon we headed to my favorite place; the farm.
There's no where better on Earth-I'm convinced.
Our calves (that are going to be shipped West in just a few more weeks!) are looking so fit and healthy, the air had a slight crisp Fall feel, and the light was perfect...basically, it was bliss.

If you haven't read my September Goals post then you wouldn't know that one of my goals is to exercise at least three days per week this month.
Forrest usually goes on my walks with me & thankfully since our neighborhood is so safe and he's such a well-behaved pupper I don't have to leash him unless I'm walking into town.
He enjoys seeking out the puddles and taking a dip while I'm either catching up to him or walking a little ahead & it's pretty much the funniest thing ever.
Labs definitely love the water!

This past week I pulled out my Fall decor and I couldn't resist doing a little bit of "in-between" decor on my hutch in our dining room.
In the future I really want to add these four salad plates to my Fall decor (1/2/3/4) but until then I'll use these bi-cenntienial plates from my Gran.
